‘ON THE DAY ACTIVITIES’
At this event all teams are asked to organise one ‘on the day activity’. This creates exciting and varied activities on the day for the teams to enjoy and for spectators to participate in too. It also helps teams to raise additional funds on the day that contribute towards team fundraising. This was hugely successful in 2017 and will be repeated in 2018.
This activity can be absolutely anything! From face painting to wellie-boot throwing or giant jenga to balloon modelling, it’s up to your team to decide! Please contact Gemma Allsop to share what your teams ‘on the day activity’ will be to avoid all teams planning the same activity.
I UNDERSTAND THAT TEAM REGISTRATION FEE OF £465.00 IS DUE UPON REGISTRATION. THE FEE IS NON-REFUNDABLE ONCE TEAM ENTRY HAS BEEN CONFIRMED BY SEE CHANGE. IN THE UNLIKELY CIRCUMSTANCES THAT SEE CHANGE SHOULD CANCEL THE EVENT BEFORE 1ST SEPTEMBER 2018 YOUR ENTRANCE FEE WILL BE REFUNDED.
I UNDERSTAND THAT EACH TEAM ARE REQUESTED TO ARRANGE ONE ‘ON THE DAY ACTIVITY’ AS PART OF THE EVENT AND CAN USE THIS ACTIVITY TO RAISE FUNDS FOR YOU (THE NOMINATED CHARITY EVENT PARTNER).
I UNDERSTAND THAT MY TEAM ARE ONLY PERMITTED TO COLLECT DONATIONS AT THEIR DESIGNATED PITCH ON THE EVENT DAY. WALKING BUCKET COLLECTIONS ARE NOT PERMITTED BY CHARITY PARTNERS.
I UNDERSTAND THAT SEE CHANGE WILL COMMUNICATE DIRECTLY WITH EVERY CHARITY EVENT PARTNER TEAM(S) TO COORDINATE ‘ON THE DAY ACTIVITIES’ AND TO COMMUNICATE KEY EVENT SAFETY INFORMATION.
I UNDERSTAND THAT CHARITY EVENT PARTNERS AGREE TO PASSING ON KEY INFORMATION TO PARTICIPATING TEAMS; TO REINFORCE SAFETY MESSAGES; AND ‘ON THE DAY ACTIVITY’ INITIATIVE.
