2017 has been a year of big change for us; early in Summer we took an important decision to change our name in Bristol, this was done to avoid confusion with another charity. See Change is a bold statement of what we aim to achieve for our clients and a reflection of our purpose. As you will see below, it has also been a busy year for our services, social enterprises and events.
We would like to thank everyone who has shown their support this past year, from all the participants and sponsors at our events, to those who choose to fundraise for us with their own challenges. Also, a huge thanks to our wonderful volunteers who give up their free time to help run our events and raise awareness of us within the local community.
We have had a busy year and couldn’t have come so far without the help of public donations, please support us to continue this amazing work throughout Bristol. If you would like to fundraise for us over the Christmas period, please get in touch with your ideas!

We were lucky enough to be chosen as one of the charities supported by Bristol RAG for 2016/17 and have just received their fantastic donation of over £6600! This is such an amazing amount, raised by students at Bristol University who take part in a number of activities, challenges and events throughout the academic year. A huge thank you to everyone who was involved!
Thanks to our relationship with Sodbury Sportive, we have been donated a fantastic £2000 from this year’s event. The Sportive is a cycling event where participants can choose 30, 60 or 100 mile routes to cycle, with all profits going to charity. We are already looking forward to continuing our work with this event next year!
Earlier this year, several dare-devils took to the skies and participated in one of our organised Sky Dives through Go Skydive! If you fancy ticking this off your bucket list and raising money for See Change at the same time, we are due to organise dates for early 2018 very soon so please get in touch!
We had a number of fundraisers supporting us through their own challenges this year, including Jeremy Damrel who raised over £1000 by cycling from Land’s End to John O’Groats! I think you’ll agree this is not only a tough personal achievement but a fantastic amount to raise for us!
Thank you to everyone who has chosen us when organising their own fundraising. If you think you would like to challenge yourself and do it in aid of See Change, why not get in touch for a fundraising pack?
